Knock Three Times and driver David Miller swooped the entire field down the stretch to win the first of three $122,300 divisions of the Glen Garnsey Memorial for 3-year-old filly pacers Friday afternoon at The Red Mile.

Victim Of Love and Paul MacDonell had the first call on the lead ut then Yannick Gingras moved Ross Croghan-trainee Loving Caroline to the top approaching the half, which was reached in:55. Andy Miller then moved Ideal Nectarine first-over to take command but that fily was no match for the hard-charging Knock Three Times, who rushed past and on to the 1:51 victory. Ideal Nectarine held for second with Cherry Bomb and Brian Sears third.

Also a Croghan trainee, Knock Three Times is a daughter of Western Ideal owned by Eric Cherry's Mentally Stable nd Robert Cooper Stables. The time was a career best among six career winner's-circle trips, increasing her overall earnings to more than $474,000.

Native Bride won for the 12th time this year in the second $122,300 Garnsey division as Brian Sears directed her to a 1:50.1 win over Btwnyurheartnmine (Tim Tetrick) and recent Jugette winner Good News Lady (Greg Grismore).

Although Native Bride has been trained by Joe Pavia Jr. throughout the year--including when she won the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes champion at Harrah's Chester in early September--she has been in the barn of trainer Noel Daley while in Lexington. The daughter of Allamerican Native is owned by Sears's father, Jay, in partnership with TH Stable.

Tug River Princess, making just her third straight in two months, stretched her winning streak to three as she won the third and final $122,300 Garnsey division in 1:50.4 for driver John Campbell. Stylish Artist took runner-up honors for David Miller, with Lightning Glory and Andrew McCarthy third.

Trained by Ross Croghan, Tug River Princess finished seventh in the Mistletoe Shalee final Aug. 2 at the Meadowlands but has not lost since although she has been raced sparingly. She won the $350,000 Valley Forge final Aug. 17 at Harrah's Chester and the $253,400 Nadia Lobell at The Red Mile Sept. 7, but then had only a winning qualifying effort in Lexington until Friday's race.

A daughter of Badlands Hanover, Tug River Princess is owned by Let It Ride Stables, Robert Cooper Stables and Jerry Silva. Now an 11-time winner in 15 starts this year, Tug River Princess increased her career earnings to more than $863,000 with her win in the Garnsey split.
