New York Times writer George Vecsey wrote a glowing tribute in Monday's newspaper to the late publicist Joe Goldstein, who died Feb. 13. It was in that newspaper in 1959 that Goldstein made his first splash as a harness publicist when he took out an advertisement searching for artichokes to feed the French trotty Jamin who was entered in the International Trot at Roosevelt.
