Will Wednesday $300,475 Jugette Filly Pace be Good News Lady’s break through effort this season? The filly is winless in 12 starts this season, but has been a bridesmaid many times. Good News Lady has earned $360,885 for Brittany Farms, Val D’Or Farms and Christina Takter. In fact, in two years she has banked $592,359 in 24 career starts. “She’s racing very well…she’s doing very well…but she’s always the bridesmaid. She’s going to win some time,” says Myron Bell of Brittany Farms. In her last start, Good News Lady finished third in the $253,400 Nadia Lobell at Takter added, “She is very versatile. She can do anything, leave or sit behind. I don’t know how much speed is inside of her but she can leave the gate good.” The Jugette will highlight Wednesday’s 19 race card at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. (Little Brown Jug)
