An eight race card with purses exceeding $500,000 will be contested Thursday on the Governor's Day program during the 87th Annual Delaware State Fair at Harrington Raceway Thursday.

There will be a special 11 a.m. post time. Four $100,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) finals will be featured for 3 year olds. The first three races are final events for sophomores. The colt and gelding pacing final will kick things off as Lester Walls and Jack Upchurch's He's Personal (5/2, Brad Hanners) will look to complete a sweep of the event, after winning his two eliminations handily. The Wayne Whitson-trainee will start from post two.

In the filly final, which completes the early daily double, Rodney Wyatt's Ireneonthemove (2-1, Tony Morgan) will seek to continue her dominance from the rail. The Powerful Toy filly has won 13 of 18 lifetime starts and has never finished worse than second. She won both of her elims and will look to add to her lifetime bankroll of $212,866 for trainer Jason Skinner.

The favorites drew the outside in the final events for trotters as Vicki Givens and Harvey Simpson's Westgate Alexis (5/2, Jim Morand) will look to keep her unblemished 3-year-old campaign intact, but must do it from post eight. The CR Commando filly has won all five of her starts this year and tasted defeat just once in 13 career starts for trainer Wayne Givens.

Meanwhile All This Snazz (5/2, Les Givens) has an identical record with an equally bad post draw, starting from post eight in the colt and gelding trot final. Owned by Nanticoke Racing Inc., the Loge colt won his elims in impressive fashion. "Snazz" was unraced as a 2 year old

Also on the program are the $40,000 Governor's Cup (aged pacers), the $30,000 Legislator's Cup (aged mares) and the $30,000 Delaware Park Trot (aged trotters).

Nick Callahan's Cool Flying Fun (5/2, Brad Hanners) will seek his seventh win of the year in the Governor's Cup as the morning line favorite, but must do it from post seven. The 6-year-old Bonnie And Clyde stallion already has five sub-1:52 wins this year.

Wayne Pryor and Wendy Crissman's Gold Rocket A (3-1, David Miller) will start from the rail. The 7-year-old Armbro Operative gelding has competed with Open company all year and is the third highest money earner in the field.

Harness the Power and Jonas White's Ann Other Porsche (7/2, Ross Wolfenden), who is the only repeat winner of the Legislator's Cup, will look to be a three-time champ in the top event for older mares. The Kevin Lare-trainee drew post six in a seven-horse field. Phil Mitchell and Brad Sawyer's Ge's Jen (5/2, Eddie Davis) is the early choice after three consecutive wins, including a lifetime best 1:49.4 last start at the Meadowlands.

Toby Lynch's Put Them On Hold (5/2, Lynch Jr.) has the favorite status in the Delaware Park. He enters the race in top form after two consecutive wins to close out the Harrington meet. (Harrington)
