Trainer Josh Green earned his seventh training title at Harrington Raceway Thursday, capturing 41 wins at the summer/fall meet. Green finished the meet three wins ahead of runner-up Chuck Crissman Jr., who had 38 victories. Tim Crissman (30 wins), Les Givens (27), and Mike Hall (21) rounded out the top five.

"Harrington has always been very good to me," said Green. "Most of my horses have gotten around well and it's been a good place to race. I've got some good help and we try to have a fairly balanced stable and that helps a lot."

Harrington closed the books on its 60th year of live racing with the conclusion of it's summer/fall meet. Tony Morgan earned his second straight driving title at the First State's half-mile racetrack with 179 wins for the meet. Morgan's 198 wins in the spring are the most for the duration of a meet in track history.

Morgan currently leads all drivers in North America with 868 wins. Meanwhile, the sport's fourth leading driver, Tim Tetrick, recently transitioned to Delaware and won two races on the program giving him 522 for the year.

Brad Hanners finished as the second leading driver with 97 wins. Ross Wolfenden (96) was close behind as Roger Plante Jr. (59) and Eddie Davis Jr. (46) completed the top five.

Rounding out the closing week awards, Mildred Ventriglio's Quick and Deadly was voted Horse of the Meet by the United States Harness Writers Association's Delaware Valley chapter. The Tim Crissman trainee won six of nine starts at Harrington and took a mark of 1:51.2. (Harrington)
