Marc Guilfoil, who two weeks ago announced his retirement as director of Standardbred racing for the Kentucky Horse Racing Authority (KHRC), has “un-retired,” being rehired by the KHRC as its deputy executive director under executive director Lisa Underwood. “I will be assisting Lisa in all matters concerning Thoroughbreds, Standardbreds and Quarter Horses,” said Guilfoil, whose assumed his new title July 1. “I am excited for the opportunity and looking forward to my new role with the Authority.”
