Tioga Downs will host a handicapping contest on Saturday, February 21, dubbed “The Mid-Winter Mayhem” that will span 10 races on the Saturday night simulcast card. The first half of the handicapping contest will be determined by the first five races from Yonkers Raceway, followed by races six through ten from the Meadowlands. Contestants will be required to pick the winner of each of the ten races for the handicapping contest.
Entry for the “Mid-Winter Mayhem is free, and contestants will be given free food from 5 pm until 7 pm, but will be supplied with free coffee, soda, and water for the duration of the handicapping contest. The prizes for the handicapping contest are as follows:
Vernon Downs just recently finished its handicapping contest on Saturday, Feb. 7 and more than 125 contestants showed up to test their handicapping knowledge against the crowd.
