Wagering handle for Saturday's Pepsi North America Cup card at Mohawk Racetrack totaled $3,250,945, a slight increase from last year's handle of $3,200,178. Both cards featured 13 races. Also, wagering on this year's NA Cup increased as well, from $602,865 to about $640,000.
Both the 2009 and 2010 handles were up significantly from 2008, when $3,081,823 was wagered on the card that featured Somebeachsomewhere's NA Cup triumph. Somebeachsomewhere's appearance also created a minus pool for the track.
