Harness Eye Giwner's picks sharp at Big M Thursday

March 26, 2010 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Harness Eye editor Derick Giwner got the weekend off to a good start at the Meadowlands with a three-win night on Thursday. Giwner started fast when an exacta box using his top three horses in the first race was a winning ticket returning $148.40, and he added five more exactas to his successful card by the end of the night, including a $36.40 payoff in the 11th race.

Giwner’s picks are available by clicking the Harness Eye icon located midway down the home page of harnessracing.com.

Giwner’s three winners Thursday included Night Styles final winner Laughandbehappy in the fifth race who returned $8.60, as well as second-race winner Trust My Luck ($5.80 and ninth-race winner Allstar Blue Jean ($5.60).

We all know how tough those weekend races at the Big M are to handicap, and although track handicapper Dave Brower has his selections available on the Meadowlands website, the keen handicapping “eye” of Harness Eye’s Giwner gives even more help to a bettor—whether a novice or an experienced player. Any extra insight that could result in a profit at the windows—how can you turn that down? Especially when it costs nothing.

So scroll down the home page of harnessracing.com, click on Harness Eye, and read Giwner’s take on the weekend races at the Meadowlands.
