Harness racing shrine inducts Arthur, Langley, Hennessey

A record attendance of more than 450 people gathered under the big tent on the lawn of the Harness Racing Hall of Fame in Goshen, N.Y., Sunday night to welcome Jimmy Arthur, Phil Langley and Wally Hennessey into the Living Hall Of Fame.

 

The ceremony also inducted Ray Brienza, Marie Hill, Dean Hoffman and John Manzi into the Communicators Corner of the Hall Of Fame.

 

Horses were not excluded, either. Bonefish, Cam’s Card Shark and Continentalvictory were honored with their inclusion in the harness racing shrine.

 

The evening was pleasantly cooler than most Fourth Of July weekends in Goshen, but the atmosphere was charged with support of a large contingent of friends and family who were in attendance to celebrate with the inductees.
