Four qualifying races were contested on Tuesday morning at Harrah's Chester Casino and Racetrack as the track prepares for its third season of live racing. Tim Tetrick, Tony Morgan, and Cat Manzi
Bret's New Journey (Morgan) was a wire-to-wire winner in 1:55.3, holding off stablemate Lennox Blue Chip (Tetrick) in the fastest heat of the morning. Manzi partnered Thanks For Stoppin and Powerball N to victory, with both recording 1:58.1 miles. Armbro Doug (Tetrick) was fastest in the lone trotting heat, stopping the timer in 2:02.1. Additional pre-meet qualifying sessions are scheduled for Friday, April 11, and Tuesday, April 15, with a 10 a.m. post time on both days. Entries close at 1 p.m. on the previous day on both occasions. The 2008 meet kicks off on Sunday, April 20, with the first race slated for a 12:25 post time. (Harrah's Chester)
