A capacity crowd filled the grandstand of Harrington Raceway Sunday night as the track’s 64th season of live harness racing began with a 15-race program.

Reigning driving champion Tony Morgan picked up where he left off with three wins on the program, while past champ Brad Hanners returned with a bang, also registering a hat trick. Meanwhile, 2009 Harrington leading trainer Tim Crissman, earned a win in the 10th race with Definitely Maybe.

In the featured $25,000 claiming event, Roger Plante’s Jezal Theory A ($14.60, Plante) surged late for a 1:56.1 triumph. It helped aide the pick 4 (races 3-6) return of $992. (Harrington)
