Health certificates required at Vernon, Tioga

Management at Tioga Downs and Vernon Downs have announced that due to a recent positive test for strangles in the New York area, both tracks will require a clean bill of health certificate for horses shipping in from the western New York area. The policy will go into effect beginning at Vernon Downs on Tuesday, Aug. 21, and at Tioga Downs on Friday, Aug. 24.
