Hidden Viggorish a HOY

Hidden Viggorish, the 3-year-old filly trotting world champion, was voted the Horse of the Year by the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association (MSOA), which held its annual horse awards banquet at the Holiday Inn-Meadow Lands Monday night, Dec. 4.

Owned and bred by the Harmony Springs Stable, Hidden Viggorish took home three awards. The Bill Zendt trainee was also recognized as the track's 3-Year-Old Filly Trotter of the Year, overall Trotter of the Year and Horse of the Year. Hidden Viggorish won 12 of her 15 starts in 2006 and banked $246,403 in earnings. She won eight of her nine starts at the Meadows. Some of her major achievements included winning the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes Final at the Meadows, winning the American National final at Balmoral Park and winning an elimination of the Hudson Filly Trot at Yonkers Raceway.
