Live racing resumes Thursday night at the Meadowlands with a nine-race card headlined by the $46,500 Hiram Woodruff Final for trotters.  Post time is 7 p.m.

Slave Dream bids for a series sweep as the 2-1 morning line favorite from post 10 for driver John Campbell and trainer Pierre Couture.  The 4-year-old son of Pearsall Hanover has finished third or better in all nine of his starts this season.  His five wins include a seasonal best clocking of 1:53 in the opening leg of the Hiram Woodruff.  Lifetime, Slave Dream has won 14 of 30 starts and just under $180,000.  The Hiram Woodruff is slated as race five.

The weekend cards feature the $61,400 second leg of the New Jersey Sire Stakes for 3-year-old pacers, with the fillies stepping out on Friday and the colts in contention on Saturday.  The top money earners from the preliminary legs of the series will battle for the lion's share of the $200,000 NJSS Finals on Saturday, May 30.

The NJSS action continues Memorial Day, Monday, May 25 with the $66,000 first leg for 3-year-old colt and filly trotters.  Post time for the matinee card is 1:10 p.m.

The Memorial Day party begins in Paddock Park with rides and games for the whole family, including an Xtreme obstacle course, bungee run and moonwalk from 11 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.  A DJ will spin music and give out prizes from noon - 3 p.m.

The Meadowlands resumes its regular Wednesday - Saturday racing schedule on May 27.
