The Meadows had its first-ever triple dead heat Tuesday afternoon in the 10th race on the card as Tsm Goldenridge, Serious Damage and Teen Elvis all reached the wire simultaneously in 1:53.4. It was the first triple dead heat since Feb. 28, 2008, at Saratoga Raceway and the 25th overall in harness history, and also the fastest, surpassing the previous triple dead-heat mark of 1:57 set at Rosecroft in 1992.

Tsm Goldenridge was driven by Dave Palone, Serious Damage had Kyle Bolon in the sulky, and Teen Elvis was driven by Richard Stillings. The race was a conditioned claimer for a price of $20,000 that had a purse of $9,500; the three will divide equally the 87-percent share that goes to the top-three finishers.

Of the previous 24 triple dead heats, 22 were pacing events, the last of which occured at Windsor Raceway in 2001. On May 29, 1998, three horses hit the wire together in second place in a race at Western Fair in London, Ont., but were elevated to first together when the winner was disqualified. The first recorded triple dead heat came in 1953 at Freehold Raceway.
