Trainer Homer Hochstetler won three of the 12 races on the opening card of the 2005 harness meet at Hawthorne Race Course. Hochstetler's winners included Young's Tower, who captured the $15,500 Open Pace for mares in 1:51.3 by a nose over Odds On Charmaine. The Hochstetler-trained Parklane Powerful was third.
