Equine surgeon Dr. Patty Hogan, the wife of veteran trainer Ed Lohmeyer, has announced she is leaving the New Jersey Equine Clinic to become head surgeon of a planned equine medical center near Belmont Park. The $7 million facility will be financed by International Equine Acquisitions Holdings Inc. and Hogan will share ownership. Construction is scheduled to begin later this year with the clinic opening in 2007.
