Hoosier Park opens

Hoosier Park opened its 2005 harnes meet Saturday night and there was a familiar winner on the card as Swingin Glory, a senior citizen at age 11, won one of the 14 races on the card by one length in 1:53.3.



Trained and driven by Ricky Macomber at Hoosier Park, last year Swingin Glory won 9 of 27 starts, earned $97,414 and took a mark of 1:50.3 at Hoosier Park. His victory on Hoosier Park was the 57th of his career. He also sports career earnings of $739,981 and a lifetime mark of 1:49.4 taken at age seven at the Meadowlands.
