HRTV to show Big M Pace

HorseRacing TV will carry exclusive live coverage of one of harness racing greatest nights when it presents the $1 million Meadowlands Pace, and a tremendous supporting card, from the Meadowlands this Saturday night.

The Meadowlands Pace is the premier race for 3-year-old pacers, and likely features an anticipated showdown between Artistic Fella and Total Truth, a pair of the sport's sophomore heavyweights. Artistic Fella captured his Pace elimination in an eye-popping 1:48.4, while stretching his win streak to eight. He has been installed as the 7-5 morning line favorite, and drew post three for driver Catello Manzi.

Total Truth, the North America Cup and Hoosier Cup winner, finished third to upset winner Perfect Union (1:49) in his elim last Saturday, but figures to present the biggest threat to the rampaging Artistic Fella. He's drawn post five, and is the 4-1 second choice. He will be driven by Ron Pierce.

Also on the card are the $375,000 Stanley Dancer Memorial Trot for 3-year-old trotters, as well as the $650,000 William Haughton final for free-for-all pacers. (HRTV)
