In the first of two $22,000 winners-over paces, Benns Shotgun had a perfect seat sitting second until reaching the passing lane and then Eric Goodell rolled down the "Dover Driveway" to notch a 1:54 victory. Fields Of Honour A (Sears) was runner-up. Kamwood Warrior N (Eddie Davis Jr.) took show honors. Merle LaFountaine and Edith McMullen own the Hawaiian Cowboy-Bolero gelding, now a winner of three of his last four. The other $22,000 division went to Three Point Acres' Western Hot Shot, Ron Pierce's second of three winners. The Western Hanover-Hot Shot Michelle gelding won for the fourth time in his last five outings scoring a 1:52,1 victory. Wynnfield Flash (Goodell) finished second in front of Thin Blue Line (Jon Roberts). In one of two $18,000 male paces, Bob Davidson's 6-1 Bucktown Bad Boy and Corey Callahan came through with a 1:53.3 victory. An altered son of Badlands Hanover-Kehms Scooter, Bucktown Badboy was followed home by First Royal N (Davis) and favorite Next Flight (Morand), second and third, respectively. Bob Messick's Menno Boy took a long journey outside for Sears and still outkicked leader Brian P (Brandon Givens) in deep stretch to record a 1:53.2 win in the second $18,000 male pace. Fast finishing Lightningjacksback (Tim Curtin) also edged Brian P for second in a tight four-horse photo. (Dover Downs)
