Idle Hour surged down the stretch to win the $22,500 second leg of the Robert J. Suslow Series Saturday night at the Meadowlands. Idle Hour, taken back early by driver Tim Tetrick, sat a fourth over trip. He made a slingshot move down the stretch and held off Hands To Yourself by a neck in 1:52. Costa Rica Kid finished third. Idle Hour paid $3.00 to win the night’s third race. Trained by George Teague Jr. Idle Hour has won 6 out of 10 lifetime starts. The three-year-old son of Dragon Again has now amassed over $140,000 for owners Ann Wesley, Lea-Ann Wesley, and Teague Inc. of Harrington Delaware. The RJ Suslow Series concludes with an approximate $69,500 final on Saturday, April 19. (Meadowlands)
