Illinois HOF inductees named

The Illinois Harness Horsemen’s Association has announced this year's inductees into the Illinois Harness Racing Hall of Fame:

Living Inductees – Tom Harmer and Terry Hunt

Immortal Inductee – Claude Lorance, Sr.

Equine Inductees – Loyal Opposition and Color Me Best


Selected for annual honors were:

Person of the Year – Robert Molaro

Caretaker of the Year – Mary Dudzick


An awards ceremony and reception will be held in the Hawthorne Race Course on June 11, 2006. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. The awards program will start at 4:00 p.m., followed by live harness racing at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are $25.00 per person.
