The Illinois Racing Board (IRB) has scheduled three days of hearings to address the difficulties and challenges confronting horse racing in Illinois. The hearings, chaired by IRB Commissioner John Simon, will be held on Tuesday, July 18, and Wednesday, July 19, on the 16th floor, room 503, of the James R. Thompson Center, 100 W. Randolph Street in Chicago, starting at 10:00 a.m. The hearing on Monday, July 24 will be held on the 5th floor at 160 North LaSalle Street, Chicago, Illinois, also starting at 10:00 a.m. The hearings are open to the public.
