Indiana Downs is adding a touch of Halloween spirit Friday night, October 31 with its second annual Grey Ghost Pacing Derby. The $10,000 contest for grey or roan horses, slated as the ninth race on the program, has attracted a group of eight. Evening Snow, an 11-year-old Admirals Galley mare, is the veteran of the field. Leased and trained by Dick James, Evening Snow will start from post five. She possesses just over $166,000 in earnings, winning 36 times in 327 starts. Jet Liner will start from post seven for trainer Steve Gray. The five-year-old gelding, one of four Jet Laag progeny in the contest, possesses the fastest seasonal clocking in the field, winning in 1:54 in late September. He is owned by Ohioan Jason Young.
