The Meadowlands held 13 qualifiers Thursday morning, highlighted by a 1:52.2 clocking for Cookerosa to lead things off.



Cookerosa, by The Panderosa, wired a field of 3-year-old colt pacers with owner-trainer Alton Lynch Jr. aboard. He was followed by Sandro Hanover p, 2 1:54.1 ($140,480); Jazzy Jeff p, 2, Q2:00 ($16,311); and Allamerican Input, an unraced brother of Allamerican Ingot p, 3, 1:50.3 ($1,141,493).These four are eligible to the $225,000 Berry's Creek Pace at the Meadowlands, set for May 6. Elims will be held April 29.



Cookerosa won four of six starts and $75,578 last year.
