The 5-year-old pacer Eleven AM scored his fourth win from seven starts this year when taking the featured $10,000 Isle Mile I Pace at Pompano Park on Saturday in 1:53.1.

Driven from post one by Daryl Bier, Eleven AM settled along the pylons in third place while Bronson Hall (Anthony Napolitano), a winner of four straight, was rushed to the front, showing the way through opening fractions of 27.1 and :57.3. As Bronson Hall took the field down the backstretch, Eleven AM was tipped to the outside by Bier to flush out cover from Shattered Halo (Tom Sells), who left the pocket to move up first-over as the pacers reached the three-quarters marker in 1:25.3.

Shattered Halo made the lead midway through the final turn and entered the stretch with a one-length advantage over a weakening Bronson Hall. Shattered Halo retained control of the top spot through mid-stretch, but could not hold off the late charge of Eleven AM, who closed determinedly down the center of the track to claim the lead in the shadow of the wire and prevail by a neck.

Eleven A M returned $10, $4.40, $7.80 for the victory. Shattered Halo brought in $3.00, $3.80 for second while Smoky Bonz paid $5.20 for third.

Owned by the Berry Stables of Staten Island, N.Y., and trained by Tom Beckette, Eleven AM has a lifetime record of 19 victories from 62 starts, with a career bankroll of $349,153.
