Chris Page drove two winners Tuesday night at Colonial Downs to tighten the gap between him and currently leading driver Sean Bier to two wins with 10 days to go in the 2008 meet. Page guided Carly’s Crown to a dominant six-length victory in race eight Tuesday night and immediately added to his total with a gate-to-wire score with Miller Please in race nine. Bier has 39 wins through the first 24 days of the 34-day stand. Page improved his record to 37 winners from 178 starts. David Ingraham, the leading driver here in 2007, is third with 26 wins. Frank Milby is currently fourth with 18 trips to the winner's circle and Don Harmon rounds out the top five with 15 winners. The trainer race is not as close with defending champion Manley Brown Jr. taking a four-win lead into the final 10 days. Brown has 20 wins from 159 starters at the 2008 meet. (Colonial Downs) Richard Macomber is second with 16 winners from just 23 starts. Roland Dunavant, Jr. is third with 12 wins from 46 starts. Don Harmon and Tony Zubkoff are tied for fourth with 10 wins apiece.
