Jackson Harness Raceway concluded its 36-day live meet on Saturday, July 21, with closing night (Dollar Night) attendance of 3,290 and live handle of $94,344—this was the highest single night live handle since 1998.

Total live handle for the meet was $1,574,500 compared to $1,395,392 for 33 days in 2006. Average daily live handle was $43,736 compared to $42,285 last year, up 3.4 percent.

The final Friday night of the meet was “Kid’s Night” with a variety of fun family activities scheduled, as well as giveaway items for the kids. Thanks to Dan Rakieten and his staff for their continued promotions and for making Jackson Harness Raceway a fun place to spend the evening. (MHHA)
