Jody Jamieson was once again the leading linesman during the April 30-Oct. 5 Mohawk meet. The 33-year-old driver and third-generation horseman, who won an O’Brien award as Canada’s top driver in 2007, racked up purses totaling $4,020,517 at the Campbellville oval this summer, nearly half a million dollars more than his closest rival, Randy Waples, who earned $3.56 million in purses. Third in the standings, in terms of money earned, was Paul MacDonell, with $2.95 million in purses.

Jamieson also had a good summer at the office in terms of total wins, scoring 136 wins, 111 seconds, and 77 thirds in 738 drives.
