May 14, 2011 | Print View

Two-time O’Brien Award winning driver Jody Jamieson enjoyed a productive Saturday night at Woodbine as he captured four of eleven races on the card. Jamieson started out with back-to-back wins with Dalhousie Dave ($18.50) in the second race for trainer Tony O’Sullivan, followed by Rate Exchange ($5.60) in the third race for Rob Fellows. Jamieson found the winners circle again in The Diplomat Stakes final (Race 5) with Up
the Credit ($3.70) and finally, showed Alexie Mattosie ($9.30) the way to the wire in race seven.

With nearly $2.5 million banked this year in purses, Jamieson leads all drivers in Canada for earnings and is ranked second with 204 wins. Lifetime, Jamieson has won 5,797 races and earned more than $77.8 million in purses. (WEG)
