Jody Jamieson steered home two of Monday night's three winners in a trio of $40,000(C) Ontario Sire Stakes eliminations for 2-year-old colt and gelding trotters at Mohawk Racetrack.

The leading driver on the WEG circuit clicked first with Hibbler in the second split as the son of Striking Sahbra-Meghans Memories wired the field in 2:00.2. Play Right came charging late to pick up the place spot while Denver As grabbed the show spot.

Hibbler is now two-for-two in his brief career for trainer Murray Weber who co-owns along with Jody's uncle Fred Jamieson and Renato Confortin of London, Ont. He now sits with just over $30,000 in earnings.

Jamieson's second victory came behind Lemon Candy in the final split, which was delayed approximately 20 minutes due to a torrential downpour and lightning just prior to post time. When the trotters re-entered the track, they competed over a track that was downgraded to "sloppy" and Lemon Candy emerged victorious from off the pace in 1:59 over Aloft and Mopey Corey.

It was the first victory in two tries for the son of Kadabra-Lemons Mill who is a sibling to a series of tops stakes performers including Mill Work, Lemon Drop and Mr. Lemon. The Anette Lorentzon trainee is owned by Acl Stuteri Ab of Paris, Ky.

The fastest elimination came in the first when My Friend used an ambush move in the third quarter to take command and then coast to a 1:58 tally for driver Jason Brewer. Pointe Of Honour was a rallying second with Magical Ability landing the show spot.

The son of Amigo Hall-Machita was victorious for the second time in four outings this year and boosted his bankroll to just over $34,000. He is trained by Blair Burgess for wife Karin Olsson Burgess and father Bob Burgess of Milton and Campbellville, Ont.

The $120,000 OSS Gold final will go postward next Monday at Mohawk. Here is a look at the field in post position order:

3. Lemon Candy
