Janet Klark, who along with her husband John are well known in harness raicng through their involvement with the Christian Harness Horsemen's Association, remains in a coma from injuries suffered in an auto accident in December, when the Klarks were returning to their home in New Hampshire after attending the Breeders Crown championship night at the Meadowlands.
John took over as director of the Christian Harness Horsemen’s Association (CHHA) in June, when Weldon Stockwell retired after 25 years.
“Janet has been placed under the care of Hospice at the Grafton County Home,” John said. “The doctors offer no hope of recovery.” In the midst of this very difficult time, John is working on CHHA’s annual stallion auction. The proceeds from the auction are a very important part of CHHA’s funding, yet John has such a narrow window to obtain breedings.
