The Tattersalls January Mixed Sale at the Meadowlands grossed $5.5-million and averaged $16,455 for the 338 horses sold on Monday. The sale was highlighted by seven $100,000-plus racehorses and broodmares, led by a $195,000 bid on Quality Western. He was consigned by Preferred Equine Marketing as agent and purchased by Victor Leonardis Jr. of Florham Park, N.J.
