John Campbell drove three prominent horses to victories in qualifiers at the Meadowlands Thursday morning, scoring with the 3 year olds Artzina and Little Miss Dragon and the 4 year old Jereme’s Jet. Artzina, a pacing colt by Artiscape, enjoyed a second-over journey and won over Digital Z Tam in 1:52.4, last quarter in :26.3. Last year Artzina won 7 of 13 starts for trainer Dylan Davis. Little Miss Dragon won her qualifier in 1:53, by 2 ¼ lengths, after already winning a qualifier the previous week in 1:52.3. The 3-year-old daughter of Dragon Again took a mark of 1:52.2 last year at age 2 and earned $383,375, boosted by a second-place finish in the Breeders Crown.
