Jeannie Bernard, wife of trainer Armand Bernard and the sister of driver Mark Lancaster, was one of two people killed in a three-vehicle accident in Mt. Laurel, N.J., this past Sunday. She was 63. Mrs. Bernard was at the wheel of her vehicle when the driver of an oncoming pickup truck apparently lost control and veered left of center and struck her vehicle and a truck. A passenger in the pickup truck also died in the accident. Mrs. Bernard was pronounced dead at the scene. Local police say the cause of the accident is still under investigation. (USTA)
