The pacing colt Jereme's Jet has been retired to stud duty and will stand his first season in 2008 at Tara Hills Stud in Port Perry, Ontario. Jereme's Jet retires with a race mark of 1:48.1, a time trial mark of 1:47, and $1,659,413 in career earnings.
Jereme's Jet is a son of the late Western Hanover and the mare Ohyouprettything. He won the Metro final at Mohawk, the Governor's Cup at Woodbine and the Breeders Crown at the Meadowlands as a 2 year old.
Jereme's Jet paced the third fastest mile in history when he time trialed in 1:47 for John Campbell at The Red Mile this fall.
Owned by Genesis Racing Stable, Jereme's Jet was trained by Tom Harmer. His stud fee at Tara Hills will be $6,000 (Canadian).
