Riley Rose put away first-over challenger Faith Leigh halfway down the stretch and held off a late, rail-rocketing bid by Binions to win the evening’s second race by a neck. Despite the duel, Faith Leigh held on for third.
Driven by Sean Bier, Riley Rose lowered her career mark to 1:51.4 with the victory in the featured event for pacing fillies and mares. She picked up her second straight win in nine starts this season and improved her earnings to $176,366.
