With Tony Morgan driving for trainer Tom Harmer, Jereme's Jet scorched his five rivals in the first of three $50,000 divisions of the fourth leg of the Levy Series at "Great horse. The 7-year-old son of The winner, co-owned by Fred & Anita Fialkow and trained by Kevin Lare, returned $4.90 for his fifth victory in 15 seasonal starts. Cheyenne Hollywood (Pat Lachance) was second, beaten 4 1/2 lengths, with Whosurboy (Bouchard) grabbing the bottom of the ticket. "He was tremendous last week racing four-deep in the final turn (beaten a nose)," Tetrick said. "I never saw one close that much ground here. Tonight, I wanted to get away from as many of the others as I could, and he just exploded." Saturday night's final Levy trial went to the aforementioned Special Report, now with two wins and two seconds in his four series efforts. Larry Stalbaum sent the 5-year-old Keystone Raider gelding up and over Eyes On Kassa (Tetrick) before the opening (:27.1) quarter-mile, and these two had the rest of the race to themselves Special Report held "Eyes" at bay, winning by a length-and-three-quarters in 1:51.4, two ticks away from his own aged gelding track record. True Force (Jim Meittinis) closed to grab third. Special Report is owned by Hugo Iodice and trained by Kim Asher. (
