The Harness Horse Youth Foundation will be having a Silent Auction during the Lexington Selected Yearling Sale in Lexington, KY on October 3–7. Due to the generosity of Art Strozewski and Bow River Jewelry, there will be five collections of exquisite jewelry including an equine-themed ensemble, an onyx and mother of pearl set, and a wonderful diamond slide, necklace and earrings.  In addition, HHYF has secured a magnificent forty inch bronze entitled “Girl and Her Foal.”

Potential bidders will obtain bid numbers at the sales pavilion.  All items will be on display and available for bidding Wednesday through Saturday evenings from 5 pm to 10 pm, and Sunday from 8 am to noon.

“The Lexington Selected Yearling Sale staff has been gracious enough to allow the auction to happen at such an exciting location," said HHYF Silent Auction Chairman Marlys Pinske.  “With all proceeds to benefit the HHYF and HRYL summer camps, we are looking forward to lively bidding and a successful fundraiser.”

Established in 1976, the Harness Horse Youth Foundation addresses youth education throughout the United States and Canada. A charitable organization, the HHYF continues to enlarge and improve its programs. For more information about the organization and its programs, please call the HHYF office at 317-867-5877 or visit www.hhyf.org .
