Joe To Go qualifies

Joe To Go, son of Jenna’s Beach Boy and winner of $149,972 last year at 2, qualified Wednesday morning at Hawthorne in 1:55.2. According to trainer Joe Seekman, Joe To Go will make his next start in the Burlington at Woodbine on June 3. He is eligible to and is aiming for the North America Cup slated for June 17.

In the qualifier Joe To Go led every step of the way for driver Tim Tetrick, tearing off a :26.4 final quarter to win by 8 ¾ lengths for trainer Joe Seekman.

Joe To Go is owned by L&L Devisser, Joe Seekman Racing Stable and Suttons Bay Racing. As a 2 year old, Joe To Go won a Hanover division, a Review division, a Fox division, the Lexington Breeders and the Kentucky Sire Stakes final.

In another Hawthorne qualifier, Quik Pulse Mindale, career winner of $736,563, won by a nose in 1:54.1. Dave Magee drove the 5-year-old son of Jenna's Beach Boy for trainer Erv Miller.

Timesareachanging, winner of the 2004 Little Brown Jug, finished second with Jason Dillander aboard. A 5-year-old son of Cam's Card Shark, Timesareachanging has won $1,437,579 lifetime.
