Prominent owner John Celii, who campaigned among others 1998 Breeders Crown winner Badlands Hanover, is in line for a big payday of another kind as heading into Day 4 of the World Poker Tour No-Limit Hold’em Championship at the Bellagio in Las Vegas Wednesday he stands 20th among 55 remaining players.

The tournament, which concludes Saturday after beginning with 545 players, has a total prize pool of $13,216,250, with first place worth $3,389,140. Well-known player Gus Hansen is currently first with a chip count of 2,246,000, while Celli will begin play on Wednesday with a chip count of 515,000. As it stands, Celii is currently in line to earn $39,570, but the money will continue to increase if he cracks the top 50.

Wednesday’s action will begin at 3 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Up-to-date tournament standings—including charting Celii’s progress—can be found by clicking here. The Day-4 blinds are $5,000/$1,000, with $1,000 antes.

The tournament had a $25,000 buy-in, of which Celii earned by virtue of a prize for cashing in a tournament at the Borgata in Atlantic City last month.
