Joseph Robert Kina, the 5-month-old son of trainer John Kina and Jennifer Carpenter, died unexpectedly Sunday, Aug. 24.
Besides his parents, Joseph is survived by a brother, Cameron Kina; sisters Mikel Decker and Riley Kina; grandparents Larry and Amelia (Kina) Hinkle and Barbara Carpenter; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Joseph Kina and Billy Carpenter.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 28, from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road, Temperance, Michigan, and Funeral services will be held on Friday, Aug. 29, at 1 p.m., at the funeral home.
