Justice Hall sharpens for trip

Justice Hall qualified in 1:57.4 at The Red Mile Tuesday morning in preparation for a trip to Europe later this month.



Driver Jason Dillander flew to Lexington from Chicago to guide the 5-year-old son of Garland Lobell. Justice Hall led to the half in :59.2, then allowed CC Love That Red to take command. Dillander pulled out at the three quarters and came home in a sharp :28.1, leading at the wire by three lengths.



Justice Hall 1:54.4 ($584,503) had not raced since finishing second to Hellava Hush in the $82,600 Mack Lobell final at Pompano Park on Feb. 25. He is slated to start next in the Finlandia-AJO at the Verno track in Helsinki, Finland on April 29.



Justice Hall is owned by Mary Katz, Nathan Fink, Berto Stable and trainer Kevin Thomas.
