Jim Marshall III tipped Kennie Blue Chip off the pylons on the turn for home and passed by the breaking Winters Jewel in the stretch to win the $35,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes–Green Acres final for 2-year-old trotting fillies Wednesday at Freehold Raceway. Kennie Blue Chip ($3.40, $2.20, $2.10) trotted the mile in 2:01.1, a lifetime best, to pick up her second straight victory. She has finished in the top two in three of six starts and banked $27,765 for her owner-breeder, Blue Chip Bloodstock Inc. The daughter of Muscles Yankee–Armonica Hanover, sent off as the 3-5 favorite, finished 1 1/4 lengths ahead of Fast Vacation ($2.40, $2.20) and 7 3/4 lengths ahead of Tracy My Love ($3.40). Both Fast Vacation and Tracy My Love are daughters of Dream Vacation. (NJSS)
