Kentuckiana Farms has announced that yearling shoppers can now view videos of its horses via the iPhone/iPod touch or other personal video players.
Kentuckiana has taken the newest technology tool to another platform. “We are always striving to make the yearling selection process convenient for our customers," said Kentuckiana's Ken Jackson. "Placing our yearling videos on the internet allowed us to reach a world-wide audience interested in purchasing yearlings at public auction. The positive response from potential buyers around the world was overwhelming. By affording the yearling buyer the opportunity to download yearling videos to their iPhone, iPod or other portable video player, our customers can now take our yearling videos with them wherever they travel. Just like downloading a song or movie to iTunes, our customer is just a few computer strokes away from evaluating our yearlings on the go.”
Kentuckiana’s yearling videos have been compressed to a MPEG-4 file and can be found at http://www.kentuckianafarms.com/yearlings.html.
Any portable video device with the ability to play MPEG-4 files can be used to view the videos.
