KG Delight rallied late in the Meadowlands stretch to hit the wire first in 1:50.1 and capture the $42,000 Open for mares Friday night at the Meadowlands. She won by one-half length over Easton Alliance N.
KG Delight finished sixth in the Strada Memorial in her previous start with Brian Sears in the bike. David Miller, her regular driver, was back in the sulky for the mare's latest win, her third in 11 starts this season.
