Driver Victor Kirby registered three victories including his 4,000th lifetime win Tuesday at Harrington Raceway with a win aboard Spanish Dream ($3) in the fifth race.

Kirby, a popular member of the horsemen community, had a three-win night on Monday and is the defending driving champion at Harrington, while maintaining a slim lead in the standings over Allan Davis this season with just two nights of racing remaining. Kirby has a three win lead over Davis.

Kirby learned the business from his grandfather Vinal Kirby and was a point guard in college for Marymount University (Va.) approximately 25 years ago. He is a regular on the Delaware valley circuit, including regular trips to Harrah's Philadelphia and the Meadowlands. Kirby is well traveled, recently competing at four different racetracks in four states over the past week.

Kirby quickly earned another win one race after getting his milestone victory, with a 1:54.1 win in the $17,500 Mares Open aboard Jo Ann Looney-King's Purrfect Bags ($4). Trained by Jim King Jr., the Roddy's Bags Again 5-year-old was a pacesetting winner over Miss Me Yet and Hostess Lisa.

Trainer Brian Malone won the 10th with Corona Again ($3.60, Tony Morgan) to give him a three win lead in the race for meet's leading trainer over Josh Green.

Montrell Teague and Morgan each had driving doubles.
