A bill has been introduced in the Kentucky legislature that would eliminate the sales tax on horses purchased in the state. The bill, introduced by a pair of Kentucky legislators, calls for the elimination of the six percent tax on horses claimed at Kentucky racetracks, as well as the tax on horses sold at auction.
