Vic Kirby, who had two driving wins, moved Dance Hall into the lead on the clubhouse turn and the 5-year-old daughter of Blissfull Hall took over holding off a stretch long battle from runner-up Easter Egg Hunt (Roger Plante) for a 1:53.3 victory in the $16,000 mares pace. Bay Express N (Corey Callahan) finished third. The victory is the sixth of the season for Dance Hall owned by Don Hawk and trainer Dan Warrington. She has banked $114,150 this season. In a $14,000 all female pace, Warren Racing Stable's Alberts Drifter N and Bret Brittingham was strongest in the stretch overtaking Rakalees N (Jim Morand) in deep stretch via the passing lane to score her fifth win of the season in 1:54.2. Besmitten By A Vet (Kirby) was a fast-finishing third. Nick Alessandro's Pacific Pleasure with Mike Cole in the bike, overtook Firiel Hanover (Morand) in mid stretch to go on for a 1:53.1 decision in a $13,5000 filly and mare pace. Mapua Magic N (Callahan) closed well for third but her three-race win streak came to an end. Trainer-driver Kevin Sizer steered Tom Kelly and Margaret Mancini's Shesa Troublemaker past Dream-A-While (Art Stafford Jr.) in deep stretch to win the $11,500 filly and mare pace. Lets Thank Heaven (Ross Wolfenden) was third. Bobby Rice's Gangsta Lady and Sizer won for the seventh time this year posting a 1:54.1 triumph in an $11,000 pace for females. Tug River Aussie (Kirby) came on to take second. Hold That Thought (Callahan) was the show horse. (Dover Downs)
